Annual Student Membership Scholarships
The annual student membership scholarship is designed to support a current Indiana student in a community college or university in pursuing a career in meeting and event planning. The scholarship provides two students each year with a full complimentary
year of MPI membership at the student rate, a $40 value.
Applications are accepted year-round. Submissions received 3 weeks prior to the IMPRESS awards will be considered for that year. Please ensure to submit 3 weeks prior
to allow for review of applications and selection of winners. The winners are recognized at the IMPRESS Awards event.
Applications are now being accepted for the 2024 scholarship. Application deadline is March 20, 2024.
2024 Student Membership Scholarship Application
Jack Langston CMP/CMM Scholarship
The Jack Langston CMP/CMM scholarship is designed to show the chapter's commitment to supporting individuals in the meeting and event planning industry wanting to advance their careers through certification. The scholarship provides one MPI
Indiana member in good standing with financial reimbursement of certification prep and testing fees, up to $745.
Applicants must:
- Be a preferred or premier MPI member
- Must provide documentation of successfully passing the CMP or CMM exam
- Must agree to submit an article sharing their experience of preparing for and obtaining the designation to be used in chapter communications.
