Great Lakes Education Summit (GLES) Committee

The GLES committee is responsible for a three state, day and a half education conference in November. The conference rotates between Indiana, Wisconsin and Michigan. The committee members from all three states work together on speakers, marketing, scheduling, sponsorships, attendees and after hour events associated with the conference. The committee is separated into three sub- committees- venue, speaker and sponsorship. Each member is placed in the category that best interests each individual.

Since three states are involved, conference calls are used approximately once a month and some work time outside the calls are needed depending on what area of the committee you are placed.

  • Meet and work with planners and suppliers from three states
  • Help develop an educational conference for the Indiana Chapter

Responsibilities/Ongoing Tasks:

  • Participate in conference calls
  • Register and attend GLES in November
  • Help with details of the conference based on committee placement
